Water Conservation Engineering
Our Maddaus Water Management team thrives on using our extensive knowledge of water resources planning, specializing in demand analysis, water conservation and drought planning to help water utilities around the globe. More than 20 years ago, Maddaus Water Management’s first project was supporting the water conservation planning needs of Bangkok, Thailand. Since that time, our work has extended to support both publications and training workshops for the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific Region. Our team has completed over 460 projects, focused mainly in the United States.
Our team brings an unparalleled combination of water resources planning expertise with a well-honed understanding of water demands, conservation, drought and water supply reliability. In 1999, William Maddaus, the company’s founder, developed the first water conservation model. This Decision Support System (DSS) model has been used in over 29 states across the nation and internationally in Canada, New Zealand and Australia, representing a population of over 50 million people.
A full 90% of our clients are municipal agencies or governmental entities. More than 85% of our work comes from repeat clients who wish to expand on our services or via word of mouth referrals. We are a family owned business that operates from Northern California.
